Electric String scoops top Crestron Award

Electric String, an experienced yacht entertainment and AV provider, is celebrating after picking up a prestigious industry award for a state-of-the-art, fully automated audio-visual project completed on MullenLowe Group.

They were presented with the ‘Best Corporate Installation Award’ in the annual Crestron Integration Awards, a celebration of projects featuring Crestron technology.

James Ward, director at Electric String commented, “It is such an honour for Electric String to receive this recognition at the Creston Integration Awards. It not only showcases our team and the efforts put into a very tricky installation, but also vindicates the methods we have put in place to handle a large, complex project such as this.

“The only way that a project like this could be delivered within a limited timescale, while meeting the client’s needs, was to couple Electric String’s efficient working practices with Crestron’s best-in-class technology.”

The Crestron Awards celebrate the achievements of the integrators, designers and partners that have embraced Crestron solutions in both residential and commercial projects across EMEA. This year’s winners were announced at the awards ceremony on the Crestron stand at the 13th annual Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) show in Amsterdam.

Petra van Meeuwen, customer media relations director at Crestron added, “Electric String managed to provide the end user with an end-to-end fully integrated Crestron solution within a very challenging time frame. To do this using Crestron’s best in class technology including Crestron’s award winning 4K DM technology in such a professional way really impressed the judges who unanimously agreed that Electric String should win the 2016 Crestron Integration Award in the Best Corporate Installation Category.”
