Feadship delivers new 51m and 87m superyachts

Dutch shipyard Feadship has had a busy fortnight – it has delivered both 87-metre (285-foot) motor yacht Lonian and 51-metre (167-foot) Promise, its first ice-classed superyacht. The yachts were previously named Project 700 and Project 701 respectively.

Lonian was originally launched in July with a striking colour scheme and exterior and interior styling by Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design. Richard Hallberg Interior Design collaborated on the interiors of the four-decked vessel, which can accommodate up to 27 crew and has seven decadent suites for guests. She boasts a cruising speed of 12 knots.

Promise has also been delivered after leaving her construction shed in Aalsmeer in August. Although details of the explorer yacht have been kept under wraps for the most part, her ice-class notation hints at polar voyages.

The exteriors have been crafted by Feadship’s in-house design studio De Voogt, and the interiors come courtesy of Bannenberg and Rowell Design. She offers accommodation for up to 12 guests, and has a cruising range of 4,500 nautical miles.

Behind the scenes Feadship has been increasingly busy in the tail end of 2018; work is well underway on its Amsterdam and Makkum facilities, and it has launched its extensive Services Network.
