Italian shipyard Ferretti Group has launched its latest flybridge yacht Riva 90 Argo ahead of the Palm Beach International Boat Show later this month.
Named after the Greek mythology legend of Argo, the 27.4-metre (90-foot) yacht was debuted during a private event in Miami on 9th March. While Riva 90 Argo is the latest addition to the Riva series, Ferretti is currently constructing its 50-metre (164-foot) flagship at its Ancona facility.
Ferretti’s engineering department collaborated with Officina Italiana Design studio to develop Argo.
Mauro Micheli, chief designer at Officina Italiana Design, previously explained, “The Riva 90 is a very sleek, slender boat despite being quite large, volume-wise. Its lines are balanced, sporty and elegant, brilliantly epitomising the Riva DNA. There is a real sense of stylistic coherency between the interiors and the exteriors.”
The yacht features a sizable superyacht sundeck and a master suite located on the main deck, as well as five guest cabins situated on the lower deck. The aft presents a concealed stairway system from the Riva 56 Rivale.
Notably, Argo also has a generously sized garage, which can accommodate a Jet Ski and a Williams 395.
A range of engine options will be provided; from twin 1,921hp 12V2000 M96Ls to a pair of 2,400hp 16V2000 M93 engines, resulting in a top speed of 30 knots and cruising speeds of 22-26 knots.
