Fifth Horizon RP110 hull sold ahead of 2019 delivery

The fifth hull in Horizon Yachts’ RP110 series has been sold, with Wayne Cannava from Gilman Yachts introducing the buyer. The 33.53-metre (110-foot) motor yacht is currently under construction at the Taiwan-based yard and is due to be delivered in early 2019.

She will be constructed in GRP to ABS class, with naval architecture from Donald L. Blount & Associates and exterior styling from the drawing boards of Espinosa Yacht Design.

Accommodation will be for 10 guests across five staterooms, comprising a main-deck owner’s cabin, two doubles and two twins, while the crew quarters will house a staff of up to six people. The highly spacious saloon and dining area will make full use of the 7.62-metre beam and allow all guests to socialise and relax together.

With a particular focus on outdoor relaxation options, the new build will also feature a large aft-deck settee and a flybridge fitted out with a full bar, al fresco dining area and Jacuzzi. Meanwhile, her tender garage will be able to double up as a beach club area.

Power will come from a pair of 1,900hp Caterpillar C32 ACERT engines for a top speed of 21 knots and a cruising speed of 18 knots, drawing on a total fuel capacity of 21,000 litres.

At the time of sale, the Horizon RP110 was listed for $12.5 million U.S. dollars.
