Fifth Ocean Yachts has recently celebrated the technical launch of its Fifth Ocean 24 tri-deck motor yacht.
Built in steel, the 23.9m displacement yacht is designed for long-range cruising with a range of 4,100 nautical miles at a cruising speed of seven knots, powered by twin 250hp Caterpillar C7 engines.
Design and naval architecture was by Ginton Naval Architects, while interior design was by Erik Van Dongen.
Accommodation for six guests is found on the lower deck in a full-beam master owner’s cabin, VIP forward and guest stateroom – all en suite – while two crew members are accommodated aft, with a captain’s cabin is set on the wheelhouse deck.
According to Fifth Ocean, “The yacht is being built in accordance to Dutch quality standards at the shipyard in Ukraine, thus it allows us to build yachts of European quality at a price 30 per cent less than in Europe.”
