Dutch shipyard Van der Valk has announced its two debut BeachClub motor yachts are approaching completion.
Van der Valk’s 19.05-metre (62.5-foot) BeachClub 600 is scheduled to be delivered at the end of this month, attending a variety of significant boat shows. Meanwhile the 20.5-metre (67.2-foot) BeachClub 660 Flybridge is due to be launched in July.
The interior and exterior design of the vessels is a result of Cor D Rover, whilst Ginton Naval Architects is responsible for the naval architecture.
Cor D Rover has developed a selection of four interior styles; ‘Ibiza’, ‘Sardegna’, ‘Mallorca’ and ‘Corse’, clients also have the option to style their own interior.
Dispensing of the traditional engine room, Van der Valk has installed the propulsion systems aft in the swim platform area, increasing both interior and exterior space vastly.
The yachts’ exteriors feature an aft deck, foredeck and a beach deck with sun lounge, whereas the interiors boast an upper saloon along with an indoor helm station, a lower deck saloon and accommodation quarters.
BeachClubs' style represents a modern and elegant aesthetic. Predominantly built in aluminium, the vessels feature teak decks and a range of stainless-steel details, including sizable stainless-steel sliding doors.
The yachts will be ideal for sailing destinations such as Florida, the Caribbean and the South of France.
Powered by two Volvo Penta IPS-950 engines, BeachClub 600 will be able to reach a top speed of 25 knots. BeachClub 660 Flybridge will be fitted with a pair of Volvo Penta IPS-1050 engines and will have capabilities to reach a top speed of 30 knots.
