Fourth unit of Wallyace displacement line launched

Yacht builder Wally has announced the launch of Wally Casa, the fourth yacht in its 26m Wallyace displacement line.

Successfully launched this month, Wally Casa is currently getting ready for her sea trial before being delivered to her American owners at the end of the month. A statement from Wally said that she “typifies the Wally approach to yachting innovation, to improve the quality of life on the water.”

Wally Casa features a unique three-cabin layout, which, according to Wally, introduces an “innovative layout, featuring owners/VIP quarters aft with sliding glass doors, giving full access to the aft platform, the so-called Wally terrace-on-the-sea.”

Wally describes the layout as an “inside-outside” concept, with living areas that extend outside and vice versa: “The Wally inside-outside concept runs throughout this displacement yacht: The living area under the superstructure is completely surrounded by glass offering a 360-degree view.” In keeping with the concept, there is also 130sqm of outside space spread over two decks, “larger than any other yacht in her size range.”

Outside is a custom hot tub in the forward social cockpit of the main deck, which is surrounded by sun pads. There is also a 5m tender garage located over the engine room.

Inside, Wally Casa features a “loft-style atmosphere”, with interior styling that combines walnut wood with grey fabrics. She is able to accommodate seven guests across her owner’s suite, guest double cabin and guest twin cabin. She also accommodates four crew members on board.

Her propulsion system is characterised by engines which run at a low RPM, offering low vibration, noise and consumption. She will cruise around the Med this summer, before heading to the Caribbean at the end of the year and making the trip back to her home in Baja California, Mexico.
