Gib Boats opens in Gibraltar

Gib Boats, a new company specialising in yacht maintenance has recently opened in Gibraltar. Based in Queensway Quay Marina, they are also distributors for Monte Fino Custom Yachts and Autoglym products.

Autoglym offers a range of products for the automobile industry, and Gib Boats are adapting these for the marine and yachting industries. This includes a wide range of products from marine shampoo to various polishes and waxes.

Monte Fino have recently brought their new Echo range to the market, which is it’s an economic answer to luxury motor yachting. Given that at 10 knots the boat only uses 50 litres of fuel, powered by its 1000hp Cummins engines, it gives the yacht a transatlantic range of 4000nm which is very impressive for an 85ft motor yacht.

The new twin disc system allows the captain to slip the clutch and vary the tick over speed for interior marina cruising. This system also joins the engines with the bow and stern thruster to allow the use of a joystick for manoeuvring.

The company also has a brand new Monte Fino 76 available for viewing in Gibraltar.
