Gill Marine announces new Dinghy clothing collection for 2015

Gill Marine, the outdoor clothing specialists, has announced their most comprehensive collection of outdoor clothing for 2015. 

The Gill 2015 Dinghy Collection, a result of the collaboration between the Gill R&D and Gill Race teams, covers all bases, from hiking and summer sailing, through to winter pursuits.

Highlights of the new collection include the Pro Top with unique adjustable neck closure in 2Dot

™ laminated soft-touch fabric, created with hydrophobic breathable components to keep you dry during high-activity racing, and the more fitted, water-repellent Hydrophobe range that stays dry and comfortable in all conditions.

The brand states the new collection to be flexible and versatile to adapt to any condition, engineered to enhance experiences on the water while keeping individuals warm, dry and comfortable allowing them to focus purely on performance.

Further to the Dinghy Collection, Gill has also introduced the new Gill Floating Bifocal Sunglasses in +1.5 and +2.5 dipoter strengths, with built-in floatation capabilities to ensure that they are never lost should they be dropped overboard. 

The glasses provide polarised lens technology consisting of seven separate layers with UV light absorbers to protect against UVA, UVB and UVC radiation. Lenses are both shatter and scratch resistant, and optically corrected for crystal clear all-round vision. 

The hydrophobic outer lens repels water quickly and efficiently from the surface to avoid build-up of salt residue while oleophobic technology helps to keep the lens free from sunscreen, skin oils and fingerprints.
