Harnessing the Sun ‘Supiore Uno’ is the world's first luxury tender

Dutch family business Supiore introduces its treasure to the boating market.

On the 28th of June Supiore introduced its first electric pleasure yacht: the ‘Supiore Uno’. The unveiling of the revolutionary, 5,25 meters long tender attracted many interested people, foreign and domestic, to The Harbour Club in Amsterdam.

Electric cars have been a part of the streetscape for a long time, but the boating market failed to pick up the pass and join the trend; until now. After a development period of two years, this jewel of a boat is ready to conquer the world.

The batteries of the ‘Supiore Uno’ can be charged by the solar cells on the foredeck or by wallplug. Together they achieve a stunning 20% loading capacity per hour. The special design of the foredeck ensures that if someone lays on it, the charging of the batteries does not stop, but only decreases slightly. At cruise speed, the Uno has a range of up to six hours. Moreover, the house designed control of the exceptionally quiet electric motor does not only ensure an efficient and economical drive, but also ensures a smooth acceleration when moving both forward and backwards. With the ‘Supiore Uno’ environmentally harmful gases belong to the past.

With ample seating for seven people, the Uno is ready to be enjoyed at any time. This can be done completely in style, thanks to the use of luxurious materials, the many possible extra's - such as a barbecue, a cooler, chilled wine storage, integrated LED lighting and HiFi speakers - and the possibility to customize the Uno completely, inside and out. Leather, diamond stitching or a more classic look: Supiore can make you your own dream tender. The Uno is a boat on which you can enjoy a nice glass of wine, have a good conversation and enjoy the breath-taking views. And while you are doing all that, the Uno is loading its batteries thanks to the solar cells on the foredeck. This unique tender is software limited to a maximum speed of 20 km per hour (10 knots) and is salt water proof.
