Heesen Yachts Laurentia undergoing sea trials

Heesen Yachts’ 55m Project Alida, now named Laurentia, is currently undergoing her sea trials outside Rotterdam.

Sold on the first day of the Palm Beach International Boat Show back in March 2017 by Barin Cardenas of the New Yachts Company, Laurentia is a fast-displacement yacht with hull by Van Oossanen and exterior design by Omega Architects.

She is able to accommodate 12 guests in a full-beam master suite, one VIP cabin, two double and two twin cabins, with interior design by Miami-based studio RADYCA.

Performance wise, she is able to reach top speed of 16 knots, with a cruising speed of 14 knots.
