Heesen Yachts has announced its new 50m motor yacht, Project Ayla has been sold, with UK-based Abberley Luxury Yachts brokering the deal.
Project Ayla was built in-house at the Dutch yard, using a design by Dutch luxury yacht designers Omega Architects. The vessel features distinctive exterior lines and a chic, minimalist interior from Italian designer Cristiano Gatto, his sixth collaboration with the yard.
According to Heesen, “Ayla is yet another example of our hunger for perfection, combining speed and space in a formula only known to Heesen Yachts.”
She accommodates up to 12 guests across six en-suite cabins and is powered by two high power-to-weight ratio MTU 2,880kW engines. She can reach a top speed of 23 knots at half load and manages a range of 3,100 nautical miles at 11 knots.
The listed asking price for Project Ayla was €32,900,000 and delivery is due in April 2018.
