Hello Yachts completes another successful year supporting the world’s most in need

Hello Yachts Services S.L., yacht agents in Barcelona, Spain, has announced the end of another successful year of charitable work, having donated a percentage of its turnover to The Prem Rawat Foundation (TPRF), in a bid to support the world’s most in need people.

Created in 2001, The Prem Rawat Foundation is a nonprofit, public foundation with the main mission of addressing the fundamental needs of the world’s most in need population.

According to the Foundation, TPRF has developed a variety of programmes and initiatives to help build a world at peace, so people can live with dignity, peace and prosperity. Most of the Foundation’s staff, including the board of directors, act as volunteers to support the cause.

TPRF prgrammes include:

The Food for People Programme (FFP); a model food programme for rural villages in poverty-stricken areas. According to the Foundation, FFP is bringing significant improvements in school attendance and achievement, community health and economic outlook. The Foundation has provided over 158 grants to aid people in 40 countries across five continents.

The Peace Education Programme (PEP), designed to help people in communities caught in a downward cycle of poverty such as ex-prisoners, to discover their ‘inner resources’ such as inner strength, choice, hope and possibility.

The Peace for People Programme works to advance Prem Rawat’s message that peace is possible for each individual. According to Prem, peace is both an inner resource and innate right.

Helena Guardiola, managing director of Hello Yachts said, “In Hello Yachts, we have a bigger purpose when assisting yachts in any service we provide, and that is to help impoverished people around the world. That’s why we donate to the TPRF a yearly percentage of our turnover, to help with addressing the fundamental human needs to people in need, as we certainly believe that we can create a better world between us all.”
