Hodgdon announces launch of 12m limousine tender

Hodgdon Custom Tenders, the superyacht tender division of American yacht builder Hodgdon, has announced the launch of hull 418, a 12-metre limousine tender that will be delivered to a Northern European shipyard later this summer.

She features a generous climate controlled cabin, made up of birds-eye maple cabinetry with leather clad details, and custom leather seating for up to 10 guests. She also has comfortable outside seating for six guests.

Guests can board the tender from the aft deck, the bow or the port or starboard forward cockpit with the assistance of removable polished stainless steel grab rails.

Michael Peters Yacht Design of Sarasota, Florida undertook the naval architecture of this aft helm model, adapting the general arrangement into the design aesthetic of Hodgdon’s Venetian Series.

The twin Volvo outdrive powered tender is currently undergoing sea trials, reportedly recording cruising speeds in excess of 35 knots.

She features a composite top above the helm that lowers hydraulically to ensure that it fits inside the tender bay of the superyacht to which she will shortly be delivered.
