Holland Jachtbouw delivers two superyachts for private Scandinavian cruising

Dutch shipyard Holland Jachtbouw has delivered two 26-metre (85-foot) custom explorer-style superyachts designed by Denmark’s Knud E Hansen.

The new projects, named Arizona and Poseidon, have been delivered to separate Danish owners for the express purpose of private cruising around the Baltic Sea and Scandinavia. Both are currently moored in a north Copenhagen marina.

Although the vessels differ aesthetically, both feature similar interior specifications and configurations – although precise details and features have been down to each owner. They are fitted with hybrid diesel-electric propulsion systems so that they can, according to the designer, “slip quietly into pristine places and manoeuvre and anchor without any harmful emissions or engine noise.” A top speed of 12 knots is expected.

Arizona and Poseidon have been innovatively designed to be operated by a crew of just two. They can accommodate 12 guests.
