Yachting Pages has put several of the leading safety cases (and other associated products) to the test. The objective: to ascertain how each product performs and determine which one is best equipped to safely contain a lithium battery-induced fire.
Hydromar is further expanding its standardised product range with three new light mast solutions.
The Dutch supplier of hydraulic equipment for superyachts will announce full details of the new light mast options during Monaco Yacht Show (September 26th-29th).
As well as a deck crane with light mast function, Hydromar has also developed two other options: The fully standardised double telescopic light mast and the custom-build triple telescopic light mast.
Rob Montijn, Hydromar sales and marketing director, noted that the demand for development came from a client project quite some years ago.
“The need for standardisation and improving the budget initiated this new product line,” he said. “Because of a lack of space we have mounted a light mast function on top of the deck crane. Besides saving space another advantage is saving on hydraulic equipment. You only need one hydraulic system for operating.”
More information about Hydromar’s new light mast options will be available in the Holland Pavilion on stand nr QS36, Darse Sud.
