Ibiza Delivers’ new water taxi service launches

Ibiza Delivers, a villa and yacht provisioning company covering Ibiza and the Balearics, has launched “Ibiza’s first” water taxi service. Manufactured by British boat builders Hunton, the 1005 RIB – designed specifically for Ibiza Delivers – “sets the benchmark for travelling in style” in the island’s Mediterranean waters.

The custom-made tender is finished in teak decking with light grey upholstery throughout. Guests will be greeted by the Ibiza Delivers Offshore crew and provided with a chilled face towel and a complimentary bottle of VOSS water prior to departure. Guests will then be offered a drink from the on-board bar service, before setting off to their desired destination.

In addition, guests can also book a three-hour sunset or watersports experience trip. With twin 300 HP Mercury engines and a top speed of 60 knots, “guests are sure to be thrilled”.

Catering for superyacht clients, the tender has been created with a 400L fridge locker which will enable fresh produce to be transported to superyachts in a temperature-controlled environment.

Ibiza Delivers co-founder, David Max commented, “Two thirds of superyachts visiting Ibiza moor offshore, so this service will really help them to operate the yacht more efficiently and better service the guests’ needs, as opposed to using their tenders to collect provisions from the marina or an island jetty. It’s been a dream of ours for quite some time so it’s fantastic to see the vision become a reality.”

The tender can also be chartered by superyachts as a support vessel when they are hosting a number of guests, or to assist with crew services such as collection and drop-off of laundry.
