IGY Marina’s Yacht Club at Isle De Sol in St. Maarten has received the 2017 Superyacht Marina of the Year Award during the annual London Boat Show.
Presented by The Yacht Harbour Association (TYHA), 2017 marks the second win of this award for IGY – the company also won in 2016 for Yacht Haven Grande. TYHA partnered with GJW Insurance for the award, which saw customers from all over the world vote for their favourite marina, choosing from a shortlist which included over 80 destinations. 4,000 votes were casted for the Gold-Anchor accredited marinas, before the Yacht Club at Isle De Sol was announced as the winner.
Tom Mukamal, CEO at IGY Marinas commented, “IGY Marinas is truly humbled to once again be recognised by our customers for this renowned award.
“At IGY Marinas, we strive to provide an exceptional guest experience at each of our destinations. This incredible distinction showcases how our marina guests value our calibre of service, and is a testament to our staff’s dedication and hard work at Yacht Club at Isle de Sol.
The award marks another achievement for Yacht Club at Isle de Sol in 2017: the marina recently completed a major dredging project, and is now able to accommodate superyachts with drafts of up to 17.5ft (5.3m).
