Ivan Erdevicki of ER Yacht Design has unveiled in-build photos of the new 23.9-metre (78-foot) Kingcat 80. The catamaran motor yacht is being designed specifically for the Chinese market.
ER Yacht Design is implementing Kingcat 80’s naval architecture and exterior design, with construction work now well underway at Chinese builder Kingship Yachts. The company, based in Hong Kong, has building space in ZhongShan port.
The new build will be constructed in aluminium alloy and features a full-beam superstructure and a full-beam flybridge deck to ensure a large interior living space on board.
ER Yacht Design also created the 3D structural assembly shop drawings for the superyacht. The shipyard has developed an elegant and contemporary interior design.
The main-deck superstructure is surrounded in glass to give the impression that the space is even larger, and doors at the front open onto the forward deck to allow a cross breeze from fore to aft decks.
Kingcat 80 fully complies with Chinese standards for yachts-CCS, as well as Lloyd’s SSC standards.
She is available in a tri-deck configuration, which would comprise a fully enclosed upper deck level with a flybridge deck above.
Kingcat 80 is nearing completion and is due to be launched in September.
