International Yacht Collection (IYC) has announced the successful sale of M/Y Vango; a 50-metre tri-deck Westport yacht, which will now join the IYC charter fleet.
With 15 years of brokerage experience, Mark Elliott of IYC completed the sale on the behalf of the buyer, with Northrop & Johnson representing the seller.
The yacht is now set to undergo a complete interior upgrade in order to provide a clean and contemporary feel, with an exterior refit adding new deck furniture with options for sun or shade. Along with her refit, she will also be renamed, and will now be known as ‘Trending’.
Mark Elliott commented, “We are delighted to have Trending join our charter fleet. She really has a lot to offer. Her shallow draft (only 2.5m), elevator, VIP stateroom on the upper deck with its own balcony, as well as her speed, all distinguish her from other charter yachts of this size.
“It’s thrilling to go fast on a big yacht and Trending tops off at 24 knots with a cruising speed of 20 knots. The helicopter pad is another amazing asset, offering guests ease of arrival and departure, day excursions, or afternoon shopping trips to shore.”
Launched by Westport in 2006, Vango has a huge sundeck, which offers guests the opportunity to sun, Jacuzzi and unwind at the bar, or to relax in the shade.
She has six staterooms, an elevator, helicopter capability and trans-oceanic range. With her owner’s stateroom situated forward on the main deck, a private office, sitting room and VIP stateroom is found on the bridge deck. A further four staterooms are all found on the lower deck with en-suite bathrooms.
The main salon shares an open concept with the dining room on the main deck, with a sky lounge offering an entertaining area for movies or cocktails.
There are options for al fresco dining aboard, with outdoor dining options on both the main deck and bridge deck aft.
