Chinese yard Ruiying Yacht has announced the delivery of a 38.1m motor yacht to martial arts film star Jackie Chan.
At a glamorous ceremony in China last month, the actor was presented with a giant golden key and, in keeping with boat christening tradition, proceeded to smash a bottle on the bow. The event then continued out of the Anchor Bay Marina with politicians, bank officials and cinema stars on-board.
For Ruiying, it is the second yacht from its all-GRP series to hit the water since early September, and it is the largest model yet.
The general layout of the yacht is undisclosed, but among its key features include a helideck, Jacuzzi, sauna and gym.
The vessel boasts a contemporary and airy interior style, with light wood work, dark sofas, extensive wooden panelling and an imposing staircase leading to the upper deck.
Reaching up to 23 knots at top speed, the yacht is powered by a pair of 1,900hp Caterpillar C32 ACERT diesel engines.
Jackie Chan’s yachting adventure is set to continue moving forward, as the yard has revealed the actor is planning to own a 46m Jinglong yacht next year.
