JETNET will be introducing YachtSpot, a new concept in market intelligence software and services for the luxury yacht industry.
Rarely does a company create a product that seeks to change an industry. JETNET accomplished just that for the business aircraft industry more than 26 years ago, with a market intelligence and information service that put detailed worldwide aircraft data in the hands of subscribers. Their intention is to do the same for luxury yachting.
Diane Levine-Wilson, director of product development for JETNET explained, “We are very excited to introduce YachtSpot at this show. There is a great commonality in the target audience for business jets and superyachts and we are looking forward to meeting the major players to gather insight on their specific needs in order to customise this product for our users. So far, the concept alone has elicited really positive and encouraging responses.”
YachtSpot is JETNET's newly formed marine division, as well as the name of its database and information service. For the first time, it puts JETNET’s extensive aviation research expertise and database intelligence to work for the premium yacht marketplace.
YachtSpot is a web-based, fully researched information service ideal for the broker, builder, owner, financier, or service provider. This new live service will provide the most detailed, accurate, and timely information available on owners, managers, and yachts for sale and charter. All information is thoroughly researched and confirmed, then presented in a fluid and customisable database with numerous search and business management tools.
Vincent Esposito, president of JETNET commented, “The most exciting and unique aspect of YachtSpot is that it connects both yachts and business aircraft into one global record. We like to say it’s where the sky meets the sea.
“JETNET's YachtSpot service is the only single source for this unique and useful crossover data. I think brokers and service industry professionals will be stunned by the level of information they’ll have access to. We look forward to giving them a set of indispensable business tools in YachtSpot.”
Representatives from YachtSpot will be sharing information about the new service to show attendees. They will also be looking to sign up yachting professionals who are interested in beta testing this innovative new service.
