According to a statement from JMS, there will be a ‘four pillar strategy’ within Heesen Yacht Services, and it will be delivering the Yacht Management element of this strategy.
The four core services of Heesen Yacht Services are to be Heesen Yacht Management, Heesen Original Spare Parts, Heesen Refit and the Heesen Academy. According to JMS and Heesen, the new service will proactively reach out to owners, captains and senior crew.
Heesen Yacht Management will oversee a range of operational, technical, financial and compliance requirements for superyachts. “The end result, is that operational reliability is improved and the value of the yacht is maintained”, say JMS.
JMS commented, “Heesen believes that no one knows a yacht better than the shipyard that built it. In collaboration with JMS, founded by Franc Jansen and with offices in the South of France and the UK, Heesen Yachts is offering full management services to its fleet of yachts.
“It is this combination of the management experience of JMS and the shipyard’s in-depth knowledge that sets the service apart.”
Inno Gunsing, Heesen’s fleet service manager added, “The aim is to provide full-cycle assistance and services. Not only so the yachts can be maintained in peak condition, but also to generate feedback that will help us to introduce further innovations and improvements in the future.”
