Karpaz Gate Marina has appointed a new chef to oversee a revamp of the gastronomy served up at the marina’s Hemingway’s Restro-Bar and Beach Club venues over the summer.
Yahya Alpaslan Özdemir, originally from Turkey, has joined the team to lead the development of brand new dishes and enhance the selection of local and international food available for visitors to enjoy. He joins Karpaz Gate following recent experience in global and traditional cuisine at 5-star hotels and restaurants in Cyprus.
The new fresh food and drink selection adds to an already extensive menu, and ensures a wide range of choice for all manner of occasions, whether visitors wish to enjoy refreshments inside or outside on the promenade at Hemingway’s, or while relaxing by the sea at the Beach Club. Among the new specials available in 2018 include grilled octopus, grilled calamari and halloumi, chicken doner kebabs and platters served with wine or beer.
