Karpaz Gate Marina announces new packages for superyacht crew in 2015

With the start of the New Year well underway, five Gold Anchor-rated Karpaz Gate Marina has announced a range of new benefit packages for visiting captains and crew.

As the first modern marina in Northern Cyprus, Karpaz Gate Marina was designed especially to cater to larger yachts visting the East Meditterranean, including some of the world’s most spectacular superyachts, and the captains and crew who work on-board them.

Today, the marina annouced increasing benefits for those embarking on longer berthing contracts, with captains and crew being offered a wide range of privileges and opportunities while staying in the region.

There is now additional incentive to stay on-site at the marina, with a choice of free golf, tennis and spa packages at the Korineum Golf and Country Club now being offered with three nights’ accommodation. Additional benefits include; discounts at Hemingway’s restaurant and bar, the Beach Club Bar and market, and free entry to the Fitness Centre and Beach Club with spectacular infinity swimming pool; expert diving tours, kayaking, music and movie nights, BBQs, art exhibitions, special events and much more.

Deniz Akaltan, harbour master at Karpaz Gate Marina said, “We are really excited to welcome crew and captains to Karpaz Gate Marina in 2015 and show them all we have to offer at the marina and in Northern Cyprus.

“There are a range of new activities and opportunities available, meaning we can provide everything required to ensure short or long-term stays are enjoyable and memorable.”

Crew can also take advantage of free or discounted car rental, and free use of the marina shuttle bus in order to explore the region and all that it has to offer, including a visit to the nearby towns of Kyrenia and Famagusta. This is in addition to deals which are currently being offered on seasonal and annual mooring and technical services at the marina.

Akaltan continued, “We have outstanding leisure and berthing facilities in a stunning setting at the heart of the East Mediterranean’s new sailing destination. I look forward to welcoming more superyachts to our marina so that the crew can experience this unique location.”

The marina accommodates 300 vessels of up to 55m LOA, including 10-12 berths for superyachts. It offers premium facilities for those looking to explore this relatively undiscovered region in terms of cruising.

Karpaz Gate Marina is an established member of the ‘Destinations Marinas’, the exclusive network established by ART Marine Marinas, allowing the marina to offer its visitors substantial privileges and discounts at other ‘Destinations Marinas’ throughout the Middle East, Mediterranean, Indian Ocean and South East Asia.
