Karpaz Gate Marina reports record season

Karpaz Gate Marina Boat Yard, managed by the Sea Alliance Group, has recently announced that a record number of boats and superyachts have used its dry dock facilities for refit, repair and maintenance work in 2015.

The 5 Gold Anchor-rated marina is now promoting special winter deals and packages for refit and repair work, as an increasing number of boat owners discover the convenience of the Northern Cyprus destination in its position away from more crowded and expensive options in the Western Mediterranean.

Highlights for the 2014/2015 season included a major service and repair work on a Custom Line 112, an extensive Sunseeker 90 project, and work carried out on a custom 47m sailing yacht.

Long-term clients berthing at the marina can now benefit from significant discounts on technical work, including a full free antifouling package with haul out and launch back services, a hull pressure wash, free hard standing and two coats of anti-fouling application.

The boat yard has a comprehensive selection of heavy-duty tools and equipment are available on-site, including hydraulic work platforms, welding equipment, cutting equipment, high capacity compressors and mobile cranes. Staff are also on-hand to conduct and execute any scope of project, while the duty-free status at the marina provides extra benefits for clients, with savings on spare parts, fuel, technical services and supplies.
