Large factory expansion at Oceanair

Oceanair, one of the world’s leading manufacturers and supplier of marine blinds, has recently completed a large factory expansion.

Providing the necessary capacity to meet projected super yacht and residential market growth, a new mezzanine floor has been added, expanding factory floor space by 460m².

The factory now includes a dedicated Research & Development area, a larger Quality Control station and a new blind track bending facility; a service Oceanair is now carrying out on site. New factory equipment has also been invested in.

Additional space was also required to accommodate the continued growth of Oceanair’s product range, and the demand for increasingly more complex blind shapes and sizes.

The expansion will help Oceanair shorten lead times, improve build capacity, and help meet the highest of expectations placed upon both product quality and service. There is also a second phase of expansion set to commence in December with a new showroom planned.
