In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
German shipyard Lurssen has launched its 95-metre (312-foot) superyacht Madsummer, previously known as Project Fiji.
The yacht was launched yesterday (19th March) in Kiel Canal, with the development coming after she was technically launched in October 2017.
The steel and aluminium yacht, which was sold in September 2016 by Moran Yacht & Ship, boasts exterior design by Harrison Eidsgaard and interiors by Laura Sessa Design, who has co-ordinated a ‘contemporary modern’ style on board.
Madsummer accommodates up to 20 guests across 10 suites. Her main features include a 12-metre swimming pool, a ‘huge’ spa and large diving areas – as well as an upper-deck skylight and fireplace. Madsummer will also be able to store a helicopter below deck in the bow area.
Delivery is expected later this year.
Other superyacht projects currently being developed by Lurssen include the 142-metre (466-foot) Project Redwood, which was launched in January and has a scheduled delivery date of 2020.
