Marina Port Vell supports 14th annual PYA Golf Tournament

Marina Port Vell (MPV), one of the world’s most elite superyacht destinations and the pre-eminent home port in the Mediterranean is lending its support to the 14th Annual PYA Golf Tournament, being held on Friday 30th May 2014 at the Golf Grande Bastide, Opio, France.

Marina Port Vell is also a corporate sponsor of PYA (Professional Yachting Association); as a supporter of the golf outing, Marina Port Vell’s contribution includes the award men’s longest drive hole and the operation of one of two refreshment buggies. Marina Port Vell also has a complete foursome competing, which includes Captain Luke Raubenheimer of the M/Y Polar Star, Glyn Hutchinson of Icon Connect, Joan Gonzalez, technical services project manager at Salamanca and Miles Wring, former chief officer of M/Y Sea.

Norma Trease, director of Salamanca Group’s Marine Division, will award prizes. The itinerary for the day includes a 7.30am breakfast, 8.15am shotgun start and 1.00pm lunch and awarding of prizes. Cost includes entrance fees, breakfast, greens fees, scoring and lunch: €95 for PYA members and sponsors; €105 for non-members; and, €45 for lunch only.
