Mazu Yachts sells first 24.5m Mazu 82

Turkish yard Mazu Yachts has sold the first 24.5-metre (80-foot) Mazu 82, its largest model to date.

The yard’s founder Halit Yukay has designed her exteriors, while Mazu Yachts collaborated with Turkish designer Tanju Ozelgin on her interior styling. This represents the first time Mazu Yachts has outsourced the interior design of one of its yachts, with Ozelgin intending to optimise the space on board and create an elegant and minimalistic atmosphere.

Situated in the middle of the yacht is a full-beam master suite, with generous space and large hull-side windows. Understated textures, soft colours and large amounts of light create a peaceful environment for the owner.

Mazu 82 also features a private master head and walk-in closet, as well as two additional staterooms; an en suite VIP forward and a double stateroom off the passageway.

Powered by a triple Volvo Penta IPS propulsion system, the vessel will be capable of a top speed of 40 knots and a cruising speed of 35 knots.
