In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
The organisers of METSTRADE have announced that while new safety protocols will mean the show will ‘look a little different this year’, it will be going ahead as planned from 17th to 19th November 2020 in RAI Amsterdam.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a new ‘safe, responsible and hospitable’ protocol will be in force which will change the look of the event, but without detracting from ‘the world’s largest trade exhibition’.
Organisers conducted a survey of visitors and exhibitors to ascertain desire for the show to go ahead this year in spite of the pandemic. 71% of previous visitors stated their interest in attending in 2020, and over 1,250 exhibitors have registered to be there.
METSTRADE 2020 will be a hybrid event. Award ceremonies, presentations and panel discussions will be simultaneously available online. In addition, METSTRADE will offer the opportunity to virtually join exhibitors and visitors present in the RAI with online matchmaking tools. This will allow those forced to stay at home with the ability to be part of the event.
Niels Klarenbeek, director of METSTRADE, said, “METSTRADE’s strength lies in connecting people. METSTRADE is the world’s largest trade exhibition for equipment, materials and systems for the international leisure marine industry. We believe that we can bring our physical event to a higher platform where the best of both worlds, offline and online, seamlessly merge in a hybrid event in November.”
