In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
Italian shipyard, Monte Carlo Yachts, has celebrated five years of company growth with the unveiling of the new MCY 105 superyacht at a private viewing event at the Arsenale in Venice, Italy.
The MCY 105 was part of an on-water ceremony that saw the other models in the MCY collection come together to introduce the new edition. Projections on a water screen, light shows and laser displays provided the special effects at the Arsenale.
At 32-metres, the MCY 105 is the largest of the Monte Carlo Yacht fleet, which, according to the brand, is the natural outcome of the company’s significant investments at its production site in Monfalcone, Italy.
Carla Demaria, president at Monte Carlo Yachts said, “We began this journey with a mission to redefine the concept of luxury in yachting, and a promise of delivering the very best that Italian genius’ are able to.
“Five years later, we’re back in the great city of Venice where it all started, and we’re proud to say we have met those promises and gone beyond them. But this is just a milestone, the first of a new era for Monte Carlo Yachts.”
Carlo Nuvolari and Dan Lenard, the designers of the new MCY 105, were able to capture Monte Carlo Yachts’ signature style with the addition of exclusive features. The luxury vessel is able to reach a maximum speed of between 27 to 28 knots thanks to her two MTU 16V engines, achieving a cruising speed of 23 knots.
The first vessel of MCY 105 already has already sold and is set to arrive in Hong Kong at the end of 2015.
