Turkish yard Neta Marine has launched its 55-metre (180-foot) motorsailer Meira, with her now under offer for sale and charter with Ocean Independence.
Built to a neo-classic design by Evan K Marshall, Meira is a steel-hulled, three-masted schooner with dark-blue hull and canoe stern. She features naval architecture by the in-house team at the Neta Marine shipyard in Bodrum.
Meira’s on-board accommodation houses up to 12 guests across her six staterooms, made up of a master suite on the main deck with his-and-hers bathrooms, and three further double cabins and two twins. Crew quarters can house a staff of up to 11 people.
All cabins have their own automation systems, which allows guests to control air conditioning, entertainment equipment, curtains and lights.
Her indoor spaces are finished in leather and marble to a design by Marshall, with walnut flooring and ebony and aningeria furniture throughout. Notable features include a large saloon on the main deck with dining room and sofas, a fitness room and sauna.
Outdoors she has four sunbathing areas, a flybridge swimming pool, sundeck Jacuzzi, and skylounge with bar, sofas and additional dining table. The tender garage is fully stocked with a pair of tenders, as well as canoes, paddleboards, waterskis, wakeboards, Jet Skis, snorkelling and fishing equipment and an inflatable slide.
Meira is powered by a pair of 1,040hp Mitsubishi S12A2-MPTK engines, giving her a top speed of 12 knots. Her custom sailplan totals 597 square metres, with aluminium rigging including a 4.5m bowsprit.
