New Awlcraft® SE solid colours to launch at Monaco Yacht Show 2014

AkzoNobel Yacht Coatings is launching an expanded Awlcraft SE colour range, the premier basecoat / clear coat finish in the Awlgrip product line, at this weeks Monaco Yacht Show. As well as the existing metallic, pearls and special effect products, the Awlcraft SE range will now also include solid colours.

For new builds or refits, production or bespoke yachts, the Awlcraft SE range is ideally suited for customers looking for a fast-drying, two-stage topcoat system that is high performing in the harsh marine environment. With the same excellent gloss, flow and longevity already seen across the Awlcraft SE range, the solid colour availability provides customers with a complete offer for those looking to embrace the numerous advantages of a basecoat / clear coat system.

Designed specifically for the yachting market, Awlcraft SE is easy to apply by spray and provides a premium, even finish that is fast drying and durable. With the option to apply multiple coats in a single day, Awlcraft SE makes it possible to complete the application from base to final clear coat within 24 hours, leaving a finish that is easily repaired.

The expanded Awlcraft SE solids and effects range offers yacht owners a choice of colours and finishes to make their dream design a reality. Available from September 2014, the addition of the new solid colours collection makes available a choice of over 10,000 standard colours, as well as custom colours through the renowned Awlmix colour matching service.
