New finance whizz at Yachting Pages has sights set sky high

Sarah Moore is the newest member of staff to join Yachting Pages’ finance department, which will be busier than ever with ambitious profit targets set for 2013.

Assistant accountant Sarah, said, “I’ve spent the last 10 years working in aviation finance, so fancied the change from the skies to the seas. After sampling the delights of long haul travelling and discovering that I wasn’t air sick, I’ve caught the travel bug and many adventures are in the pipeline, too.”

Sarah has a real head for heights and nothing phases her, in the workplace or out in the real world. “I’m hoping to gain my hot air balloon pilot’s license this year and will then purchase my own balloon to explore the skies over Bristol – a city famed worldwide for its ballooning heritage.”

Sarah is meeting these challenges head on and is a great fit in the Yachting Pages office. With a background in aviation finance, she says, “I’ve worked across many sectors including private charter hire and flight training, meeting and greeting the rich and the famous, as well as experiencing private charter flying first hand.”

Yachting Pages, the world’s leading superyacht directory, is growing across all departments. There have been recent additions to the marketing, sales, finance and administration teams.

A busy spring is ahead, with directory deadlines imminent and trade events to attend including the Dubai International Boat Show in March and the Antibes Yacht Show in April.

Sarah continued, “I was thrilled to secure a position with Yachting Pages due to its excellent reputation and superb products, as well as being impressed by its expansion since 2004. They are weathering the difficult financial climate very well. I’ll be assisting in financial visibility and company expansion plans, while ensuring the continued success for all concerned.”

Yachting Pages’ print deadlines – to appear in the upcoming 2013 – 2014 superyacht directories, are in the first week of February. The team urges businesses to get in touch as soon as possible, if they would like to be included.
