New photos show Dominator Kalli-Ente moving towards completion

New photos have emerged of Dominator’s 28m vessel Kalli-Ente taking shape.

Images show the hull and superstructure largely complete at the Italian shipyard, along with finishing touches to the flybridge. According to Dominator, Kalli-Ente is due to be launched this June, before being displayed at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival and Monaco Yacht Show.

Angela Pernsteiner, managing partner at Dominator Yachts commented, “The entire Dominator design, engineering and construction team has put blood, sweat and tears into creating a yachting revolution and we are proud that this has been rewarded by the market.”

Kalli-Ente is a semi-displacement yacht, built from epoxy carbon. She features interior and exterior design by Alberto Mancini, with modern tones and materials including backlit white onyx, ebony, matte oak and nubuck leather.

Her naval architecture was developed by Dominator’s in-house technical team, along with engineers from Navalhead. The focus was said to be placed on enhancing performance and comfort at sea, and according to reports, Dominator has worked with engineers Reintjes, to develop a counter-rotating propeller system to heighten smoothness.

Kalli-Ente is powered by two 1,200hp MAN V8 diesel engines, able to reach a top speed of 21 knots, and maximum cruising speed of 10 knots, with a range of 1,700nm.
