In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
French shipyard OCEA has announced that it is to add a 55m model to its sports utility yacht line.
Announced at the Monaco Yacht Show last week, the Oceanemo 55 will be the largest yacht in the line, and is said to allow owners to enjoy luxury yachting while exploring remote destinations. The new model is built on the success of previous models Oceanemo 33 and 44, and will be produced in collaboration with designer Fulvio de Simoni.
Simoni commented, “It’s probably one of the most beautiful and smartest boats I’ve ever designed. Obviously, the judgement is subjective, but, from a design point of view, I find that the volumes and unusual shapes that characterise the 55 are perfectly in harmony with each other and certainly advantage this great yacht!”
With a focus on space, the Oceanemo 55 will feature a large aft deck and 105sqm hangar, able to hold a 9.6m limousine tender, 4.5m crew tender, two water jets and a helicopter or seaplane with folding wings.
On board there is capacity for all manner of water toys, including a superyacht submarine and a fully equipped fishing boat. There is also a variety of toys available, including slides and water jets.
The owner will also have a dedicated 65sqm apartment, with large windows and a desk, coffee table and en-suite.
