From across the southern hemisphere, Oceanair distributors flew into Darling Harbour, Sydney, for this year’s distributor technical training seminar. Focused on the delivery of custom blind and soft furnishing packages, the seminar took distributors through the Oceanair customer journey, from the undertaking of initial onsite surveys, to fabric options, design, installation and aftercare service.
Practical-based training was undertaken aboard M/Y Belle, a fishing boat made from 2000-year-old Huon Tasmania pine. Moored directly opposite the training room, Belle featured many inclined and shaped windows, all perfectly suited to Oceanair’s unique product range.
The delegates practised using Oceanair’s unique computer survey and measuring program, SMOD, and the seminar concluded with the live on-site installation of an Oceanair tailored SKYSOL blind package.
Matthew Hales, project manager of Oceanair, who helped run the seminar commented, “It’s great to see our distributors so passionate about our products. Whilst the seminar was designed to be informative, it was also an opportunity for our distributors to provide us with feedback on our products and services and to meet the Oceanair team.”
