Oceanco reveals 107m superyacht concept ‘Stiletto’ at DIBS 2015

Luxury yacht builder Oceanco revealed its 107m superyacht concept, ‘Stiletto’, at the 23^rd annual Dubai International Boat Show.

Taking place between the 3^rd and 7^th of March 2015 at the Dubai International Marine Club Mina Seyah, DIBS 2015 has this year seen a presence of 450 yachts, and a show of the industry’s most important brands.

The new Oceanco design concept, which was unveiled to attendees on the opening evening of the show, will offer collaborative naval architecture between the in-house designers at Oceanco and BMT, with Ken Freivokh responsible for both her interior and exterior design.

Inside, she accommodates up to 18 guests in complete comfort. There is a luxurious owner’s suite equipped with private whirlpool, a VIP cabin that is convertible into two separate guest cabins, plus an additional six guest cabins. The hull also has accommodation for up to 30 crew members. 

One of the most notable features of the interior is a two-storey salon that has six metres of headroom. The top storey features a mezzanine balcony, which offers guest spectacular panoramic views. 

The exterior spaces are also particularly impressive, with large aft terraces surrounding a large swimming pool that is fully integrated to the external dining and bar areas, and an extensive beach club and gymnasium. There is also a fully shaded terrace forward, which offers an additional swimming pool, bar, seating area and a waterfall feature.

When built, two MTU 16V2000 M72 engines will power the hull giving her a maximum speed of 18.5 knots. She will boast an innovative hybrid propulsion installation that is optimised for various operating conditions. She will offer low overall installed propulsion power in comparison with conventional motor yachts, and an energy balance system reusing waste energy.

Oceanco’s DIBS 2015 showcase also featured the 110m Rialto and 117m Titan superyachts.
