Oceanco unveils 90m DreAMboat

Dutch shipyard Oceanco has unveiled its 90-metre (295-foot) superyacht DreAMboat.

Norwegian designer Espen Øino has worked on the vessel’s exterior, collaborating with Terence Disdale Design who was responsible for her interiors.

At 2950GT, the luxury superyacht can accommodate up to 23 guests and a maximum of 33 crew members. Her classic and strong appearance is a result of the overhangs from the superstructure and cut outs in the bulwarks.

DreAMboat’s main aft deck boasts a sizable swimming pool, with a Jacuzzi sitting on the vast partially-enclosed sundeck. Another more private Jacuzzi features on the owner’s deck.

Large windows allow daylight to flood through the interiors and present the guests with an idyllic view from the inside out. With the majority of the furnishings on board being custom-made – overseen by Disdale’s famed attention to detail – the vessel offers a sophisticated and composed style.

Natural wood, limestone floors, bespoke surfaces and various other elegant materials give DreAMboat a stylish yet simplistic feel.

State-of-the-art technology, including a complex IP ship’s computer operating system, can be found on board, as well as a full carbon canopy mast house and mast which contributes significantly to the overall design.

Dan Jackson, the owner’s representative, explained, “It has been an intense project, but with some clear direction from the owner, excellent collaboration between Espen Øino, Terence Disdale Design and Oceanco, we have achieved a great deal and are poised to deliver a stunning yacht”.

Roderick Gort, project director at Oceanco, added, “Launching DreAMboat is an important milestone in the construction process of delivering ‘the owner’s perfect yacht’. We are looking forward to delivering DreAMboat after her sea trials this spring, and welcoming her to the Oceanco family.”

With sea trials due to take place soon, DreAMoat is on track for delivery ahead of the summer.

Following on from DAR, which debuted last year, DreAMboat is Oceanco’s 33rd yacht in its 33-year history.

A pair of MTU 4828 engines provide power to the 90-metre superyacht, while the yacht’s beam totals 14.2 metres.
