Oculus Technologies, the Dutch company behind superyacht infotainment solutions YachtEye, VXcruise, the translucent Engine room and Odyss, has announced a significant financial investment in the company.
The investment partner, whose identity is to remain anonymous, is very familiar with the maritime and superyacht industry and, according to Oculus brings with them extensive and valuable knowledge and experience. It is a partnership that Oculus Technologies believes will further develop the company and take its product range and services to a higher and more extensive level, across a broader range of opportunities.
The additional financial resources allow Oculus to grow its team, with an additional five or six positions across both sales and technical roles. Furthermore, Oculus will now be looking at further developing and diversifying its product portfolio.
Alongside YachtEye and the firm’s other flagship products, more high-end infotainment products and solutions will be brought to market. Oculus also revealed plans and details of the specific developments, and new products are due to be released throughout the upcoming months.
