Next weekend sees the annual Christmas Boat Light Parade by ONE15 Marina Club, one of Singapore’s best known marina clubs. Hosted over two nights, the parade will consist of a flotilla of 25-30 Christmas-themed boats, all different shapes and sizes, and is part of ONE15’s commitment to growing the yachting lifestyle in Singapore.
Setting sail from Sentosa Cove where ONE15 Marina Club is located, the parade will pass by a number of locations, including Siloso Beach, Fort Siloso and Resorts World Sentosa, before making its way towards Sentosa Boardwalk where the judging will take place.
Participating boats will be decked in an array of festive lights and decorations in line with the theme, ‘A Tropical Christmas on Water’. Prizes will then go to the boat with the most original and creative use of the parade’s theme.
Stephane Fabregoul, general manager of parade sponsor, W Singapore at Sentosa Cove commented, “Come 20th November, we anticipate a marina glistening with a myriad of lights and colours, adding a new vibrancy to the delightful sight of the marina.”
Adrian Staiti, executive vice president of global partnerships (Asia-Pacific) for Lagardere Sports, another of the parade’s sponsors, added, “This parade is a major highlight on the yachting calendar, and Lagardere Sports is proud to be part of an iconic event that unites the local boating community and celebrates one of the best lifestyle experiences in Asia.”
