Outer Reef Yachts launches new Nautilus Power Catamaran Series

Blue-water yacht builder, Outer Reef Yachts has announced the launch of its new power catamaran series, designed to meet the needs of those desiring a multihull sailing experience.

The Nautilus Series will be European-built and CE Certified, designed by award-winning yacht architect, Ward Setzer as a genuine motor-power catamaran.

At first, the Nautilus Series will be initially offered as a 440 model, followed by larger 650 and 750 models.

The brand states that the new Nautilus 440 is expected to set a new standard for superior performance, stability and overall comfort. Additionally, it will offer great efficiency, both at high and low speeds, due to unique features including a semi-planing underwater form rising to asymmetric hulls, a plumb bow and Cummins POD Common Rail engines. The hull features generous wing deck clearance of 1m.

The Nautilus 440 series will offer the owner a comfortable journey through substantial interior spaces, due to her beam of 6.9m overall, creating a flow through main salon design and a comfortable living environment totalling almost 116.3 square metres.

There will be three interior layout options, each providing ample accommodation space and flexibility, with a choice of either three or four staterooms, and a large main salon, expansive galley and abundant storage created for extended cruising.

As an example of one optional layout, the Premium Package includes a full-length master cabin with en-suite head panoramic windows  and room to accommodate a further eight guests.

On-board the Nautilus 440, exterior living space will total approximately 56 square metres, with the flybridge offering large entertainment areas, including a spacious exterior dining area, lounge pads, wet bar and storage for water toys and diving gear.
