In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
Overmarine has sold the second model in its Mangusta GranSport 45 fast displacement range.
Known currently as Project Amalfi, the 45-metre (148-foot) has been sold to a repeat Mangusta owner described as an “experienced yachtsman” by the yard, with delivery due for 2020.
In a release, Overmarine said, “He has chosen this brand once more for its values and performances and because he know that this yacht too will meet his needs to the fullest.”
The yard revealed that the yacht will be predominantly used for Mediterranean cruising, as well as undertaking long-range passages to remote destinations.
Discussing the news, Mangusta commercial director Francesco Frediani noted, “Many of our owners have kept choosing us over the years, growing alongside us and, more recently, showing great appreciation for our new lines too.”
The GranSport 45, designed by Alberto Mancini, boasts a “timeless” exterior and a simple layout, allowing the owner to choose from a range of different configurations.
Throughout the yacht there has been a particular focus on external relaxation areas. The sun deck has two large sunpads and a seven-person Jacuzzi—the water of which creates a waterfall at the bow.
The GranSport will have a top speed of 26 knots and a range of 3,500 miles at 11 knots. The 2.2-metre draft meanwhile, will allow the owner to cruise in shallow waters and enter remote anchorages.
The development comes after the first hull in the series was sold in October 2018.
