OYS agrees partnership with Fitzroy Marine

UK-based Ocean Yachts Systems (OYS) has signed a long term service agreement with Fitzroy Marine in New Zealand, for their range of hydraulic and electric thrusters and hydraulic rams.

Fitzroy Marine is led by managing director, Tony Green, a qualified marine engineer, who has extensive experience in the marine industry having been responsible for the commissioning, warranty and support of vessels ranging from 18m ferries, right up to 50m luxury yachts.

Tony recently completed commissioning and service training for the range of mechanical systems at the head office of Ocean Yacht Systems. He is now further qualified to service and support all new and existing OYS products throughout the New Zealand and Asian territories.

Ian Crowden, technical director of OYS commented, "Having Tony on board is a great asset to OYS. We have worked closely with him on a number of existing thruster and hydraulic projects, and we feel he knows our products as well as our factory team. Fitzroy Marine are the natural choice to represent us in these markets."
