French yacht designers and naval architects, Pastrovich Studio has announced a new 55-metre concept superyacht design, to be named X-Easy.
X-Easy will be a 55m motor yacht with a 15m beam, developed with strong usability, peace of mind, comfort and privacy in mind. Considering this, the layout of the yacht has been designed to give the owner and his or her guests a great on-board experience, with an arrangement that is adaptable to every need.
Fixed furniture on board has been kept to a minimum, instead focusing on the use of loose furniture in order to facilitate change and flexibility. There will be expansive open spaces and a strong connection between the interior and exterior, amplifying the volume of the vessel for a feeling of light and openness.
As with previous Pastrovich Studio superyacht concepts, this hull will feature an industry-unique design, with what the brand calls a ‘beach-house atmosphere’ that is fresh, bright and simplistic. The materials used for interior and exterior design are based on soft and natural finishes. There will be a spa, well-equipped gym and a stern Beach Club, created to allow those on board to ‘live near the sea’. It will be built without the hindrance of the main hangar, which is designed with side access to create as little disturbance as possible to live on board.
With privacy featuring high on the studio’s design objectives, the hull will also feature a bow terrace with dining table for socialising, especially positioned in the quietest and most private area of the vessel,. Crew quarters will be restricted to a minimum to reduce the turnover of staff associated with larger yachts with room for just nine crew members on board.
The design studio states the X-Easy superyacht concept to not be too futuristic, but rather realistic instead with a ‘unique, totally custom and timeless’ design for great value for money.
