Refit works begin on 58m Feadship superyacht W

The 57.6-metre (189-foot) Feadship motor yacht W, known originally as Larisa and later as Como, has arrived in Aalsmeer, Netherlands, for a refit after recently finding new owners.

The refit is set to last around six months and will encompass the new owners’ personal preferences in terms of facilities, sleeping accommodation and exterior.

Among the changes to the 2013 Feadship yacht W will be her colour, with the new proprietors opting for a metallic silver colour instead of her previously white hull. She will also boast a significantly larger Jacuzzi on the sun deck.

While the majority of the interior style originally developed by Bannenberg & Rowell Design will be retained, there will be some personal touches added in collaboration with the Fort Lauderdale-based A La Mer Inc.

More significant interior changes will include the VIP stateroom converted into two guest suites, which will allow for accommodation for up to eight guests across the lower deck and main-deck owner’s stateroom.

The owners will also take advantage of the occasion to update and maintain W’s electronic systems and software. The refit is set to be completed mid-March 2020.
