Perini Navi announces sale of 38m P2 sailing yacht

Italian shipyard Perini Navi has announced the sale of its sloop sailing yacht, P2, at its USA branch in Newport, Rhode Island.

Built at its La Spezia facilities in Italy and delivered in 2008, the P2 is an all-aluminium yacht, featuring naval architecture and styling by Philippe Briand.

According to the brand, P2 has been a “highly respected racer on the superyacht regatta circuit”, since her debut in 2008, and claimed the podium in almost every competition that she has participated in. Perini Navi also credits her interior as being “refined and comfortable”.

Bruce Brakenhoff Jr., president of Perini Navi USA commented, “We’re very delighted for the successful sale of P2 and it confirms the value of the Perini Navi product and brand. We’re very proud as well of the trust that the original and new owners put in us.”

Under her new ownership, P2 will soon take part in the Caribbean regatta season, present in a number of events including the Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta in Virgin Gorda, as well as the St.Barths Bucket in Saint Barthelemy.
