Peters & May and BBC Chartering announces strategic partnership

Specialist bespoke logistics company Peters & May Group and global ocean carrier BBC Chartering earlier this year announced a strategic partnership to enhance their deck yacht transport solutions.

The collaboration will see Southampton-based Peters & May, which has provided marine logistics since 1988, offer yacht transport solutions across its range of specialist departments. The strategic partnership gives Peters & May access to BBC Chartering’s portfolio of 150 multipurpose heavy lift vessels capable of lifting cargoes up to 900mt.

Dave Holley, CEO of Peters & May Group commented, “This is an exciting time for our business. Our agreement with BBC Chartering, alongside our existing partnership with Normed for our Northern European to Mediterranean business, allows us to further increase the strength of our global yacht transport solutions and offer an enhanced service to our marine clients. BBC Chartering's fleet of vessels is second to none when it comes to quality and capabilities, with over 150 vessels positioned worldwide. The synergy between our two businesses means this is a win-win situation for us both and our clients.”

Jens Meilvang, chief chartering officer of BBC Chartering added, “I am pleased to announce our partnership with Peters & May Group. We share the goal to provide customers with a paramount level of professional, reliable and efficient service. We look forward to working together, offering tailor made yacht transport solutions that are second to none.”
