Peters & May is appointed ‘Official Freight Forwarder’ for QIBS

Qatar International Boat Show (QIBS) has signed an exclusive agreement with Peters & May, one of the world’s biggest marine transporters, naming the company as the show’s ‘Official Freight Forwarder’ for 2015. The third edition of QIBS takes place between 10th and 14th November 2015.

On the back of this, Peters & May has organised an exclusive temporary import bond for new and existing clients, shipping goods to the Qatar Show via air or sea freight.

The deposit-free temporary import bond is in place for all QIBS clients using Peters & May to transport not only yachts and motorboats to the show, but also exhibition materials.

Faysal Mikati, CEO and founder of Doha-based Snow Comms, the organisers of the QIBS, welcomed the new agreement, commenting, “As one of the world’s top marine transporting companies, Peters & May is well placed to join the growing number of excellent marine and yachting companies partnering with QIBS 2015. We are delighted to have them on board.”

As well as delivering official QIBS support, Peters & May will also be exhibiting at the show.

David Holley, CEO of Peters & May commented, “We’ve had strong links with Qatar for quite some time now, and can see the huge growth potential of the marine market there. We’ve attended QIBS for the past few years, but this is our first time exhibiting, and we’re excited to be a part of this increasingly exciting and growing show”
